Welcome to Kismet's Cakes, where every slice tells a story of passion and creativity. I'm MirShanda, the heart and soul behind our Decatur, GA-based bakery.

From a young age, I've been enamored with the magic of sweets and the artistry of baking. This dual passion led me on a journey to the Art Institute of Atlanta, where I honed my skills and earned a degree in Culinary Arts with a focus on baking and pastry. Following graduation, I ventured into the bustling culinary scene of Buckhead, gaining invaluable experience in a local bakery before taking the leap to establish Kismet's Cakes.

For me, baking is more than just a career—it's a canvas for expression, a medium through which I infuse each creation with love and artistry. Every cake that leaves our kitchen is a testament to my dedication to craft and commitment to delivering moments of joy to our customers.
